Dark Wolf Solutions is looking for a Cybersecurity Systems Engineer to support our client’s organization responsible for coordinating all internet capabilities and uses. The specific role for this position will be to provide Cyber Security Engineering. Responsibilities include, but are not limit to the following:

  • Conducts research and evaluates technical performance of software product and overall segments and systems
  • Provide feedback to design engineers and evaluates end-to-end systems and systems-oriented products through formal verification methods
  • Verify/validate systems with specific emphasis on network operations and cyber warfare tactics, techniques, and procedures focused on the threat to information networks. Assess performance using evaluation criteria and technical performance measures
  • Identify deficiencies/weaknesses discovered in internet systems and recommend corrective actions to address identified vulnerabilities and non-compliance of systems, including infrastructure
  • Prepares assessments and cyber threat profiles of current and planned products based on sophisticated testing, research, and analysis
  • Reviews test plans/procedures and ensures they verify/validate the requirements
  • Produce high-quality papers, presentations, recommendations, and findings for Government management and stakeholders

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • 1 or more years of experience with the Intelligence Community 
  • Demonstrated experience researching, analyzing, and applying cyber security issues and mitigation strategies
  • Demonstrated experience with cyber tools such as WireShark, Splunk, and other tools
  • Experience with cyber operations, continuous monitoring strategies, or defense in depth security architecture, knowledge of risk management framework
  • Ability to convey technical information to non-technical individuals
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and challenging environment
  • Experience working with scanning tools
  • Strong oral and written communications and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and work independently; self-starter
  • A Bachelor’s degree) or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a scientific or technical discipline
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required

Desired Qualifications:

  • Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) Certification
  • Government Security Engineer Certification (GSEC) Certification
