Application Engineer – Cyber Security (Multiple Openings)

Responsibilities:

The Application Engineer – Cyber Security at Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, Inc. (“SEL”) will work as part of SEL’s Infrastructure Defense - Secure Solutions team and will be required to develop, maintain, and improve knowledge of SEL Cyber Security technologies and industry regulations and best practices to provide and defend critical infrastructure with a range of policy driven products and services to simplify, enforce, and audit industrial control system security.  The incumbent will apply the principles of computer engineering and: (1) provide and defend critical infrastructure by learning, teaching, developing, and supporting SEL Cyber Security Technologies and industry best practices; (2) develop cyber security project use cases, create product demonstrations, and participate in the preparation of technical proposals and commercial bids; (3) train and assist SEL field technical support staff on Cyber Security products and technologies; (4) perform competitive analysis, and establish and perform validation testing, special studies and other tests as needed by customers; (5) contribute to product specifications; (6) draft service bulletins, application literature, instruction manuals, and data sheets; (7) participate in SEL marketing and sales activities and industry technical meetings and conferences; and (8) follow and improve marketing, sales, and engineering quality procedures.

Salary Range: $89,800.00 - $95,000.00 per year.
