We are looking for a Security Administrator, Once certified, will become the assistant Facility Security Officer in our Arlington location. This position holds special responsibility for managing the ManTech SRS Technologies security program under two separate Cage Codes. Among other requirements, the FSO and a Security Administrator ensure our location maintains its facility clearance by meeting its contractual obligations for continued compliance with all applicable government security requirements.
Responsibilities to include but not limited to:
- Responsible for the preparation of all locally prepared security forms
- Completes corporate reporting system for security clearance data/reporting as necessary
- Assists in the preparation for security assessments, including Defense Counterintelligence Security Agency (DCSA) visits, security audits and self-inspections
- Supporting government and company audits and inspections of local facility
- Assists with shipping and receiving including pickup, handling, and proper storage of classified mail, documents, and material as one of two CMS attendants
- Coordinate personnel security clearance requirements with the Department of Defense (DoD), Intelligence Community (IC), and various government entities in support of SCI nominations to government customers and agencies
- Coordinates required security awareness education for local uncleared employees.
- Coordinates required security awareness education for cleared employees to include initial security briefings and annual refresher training
- Participates in various government security reviews/assessment/audits, conduct and document government required self-inspections/assessments, and assist with any corrective actions required
- Assists in conducting security in-briefings for all new employees and consulting contractors (CSAs)
- Conduct briefings and debriefings for all staff engaging in foreign travel
- Processes new hire clearance requests and re-investigations through DISS and ServiceNow in close coordination with the ManTech PSC
- Processes all visit requests, both incoming and outgoing for the local facility and two servicing cage codes
- Maintains security related policies & procedures for the local facility
Education and Experience:
- Work experience in a security office administration and/or facility security environment
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
- Must possess a basic level of understanding of government security related policies, procedures, and initiatives (32 CFR Part 117, ICD 704, ICD 705, DOD 5205 Manual, Trusted Workforce 2.0)
- Ability to apply the foregoing knowledge of government security requirements in a complex multi-level secure environment to ensure program compliance in non-routine situations
Security Clearance:
- Secret clearance is required
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
- Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer
- Frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations
- Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
