What you will do

  • Design and implement comprehensive strategies to deliver continuous improvements to a security program
  • Research, evaluate, and recommend security technologies that can maintain and improve a security program
  • Partner with Security, IT, DevOps, and Engineering teams to improve security controls for public cloud environments
  • Partner with Security, IT, DevOps, and Engineering teams to build, maintain, and monitor identity management and asset management programs as part of the zero trust ecosystem
  • Develop vision, roadmaps, and plans to expand vulnerability and asset management
  • Provide risk assessments and recommendations based on analysis of technologies, threats, intelligence, and vulnerabilities
  • Partner with Engineering to remediate identified vulnerabilities
  • Assist in monitoring and incident response functions
  • Assist in maintaining an information security awareness program based off of risk assessments and threat intelligence

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional experience in security engineering; specifically in identity and access management, asset management, vulnerability management, or security operations
  • Coding experience in one or more languages: Python, JavaScript, or React
  • Proven success in working in a start-up environment
  • Must have experience with CloudNative(AWS) platforms and applications( Micro-services, Lambda, Docker and Kubernetes deployments, Databases, NoSQL, Kafka/Queueing Service, or ElasticSearch)
  • Background in penetration testing is a plus
