FITS is seeking a Cyber Strategy Consultant to provide services on a contract supporting DHS CISA Joint Cyber Defense Collaborative (JCDC). This is a full-time salaried position with compensation based on experience and overall strength of the candidate. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills. They will be able to synthesize clear takeaways and recommendations from complex information and package them into logical outputs. The ideal candidate will also have strong communications skills.

What you’ll do:

  1. Support the development of methodologies for assessing the cyber risk to the nation’s critical infrastructure
  2. Develop standard risk analysis policies, standard operating procedures, and similar documents to ensure standardized approaches across the programs  
  3. Work alongside stakeholder communities to prioritize responses to emerging risks and threats
  4. Communicate and present effectively with all audiences, including high level stakeholders

Required Qualifications:

  • Clearance: Top Secret
  • Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited academic institution in a relevant field
  • Experience:
    • 7+ years of experience with Risk Management, Critical Infrastructure, and/or Cyber Response
    • Strong background in risk and vulnerability analysis; knowledge of risk modeling and frameworks; and recommending risk mitigation strategies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in IT and cybersecurity environments in U.S. Government agencies or critical infrastructure entities
  • Master’s Degree from an accredited academic institution in a relevant field.

Salary:

Pay Range $130,000 - $160,000

The FITS pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, or other law.

Free parking is also provided on this contract.
