Job Description The Chief Security Officer of our India office will define, lead and implement our Security strategy that focuses on identifying, defining and optimizing our security processes, aligning to our strategic company goals and manages the day-to-day security of the local organization. Responsibilities·        Set the vision and goals for our Indian market·        Establish a positive reputation in the local market as a thought leader with regulators, other executives, customers, and key stakeholders·        Envision, develop, and execute a multifaceted program with rapidly changing compliance and governance·        Develop key messages and talking points for the key presentations with strong impact·        Focus on continuous improvement around our security strategy·        Responsible for representing the Company at key meetings and negotiations·        Has an awareness of company strategy and business models to guide behaviors Skills·        Minimum of 15 years of network experience ideally in the contact center and SaaS Telecom and Collaboration industry·        Knowledge of IT security best practices and methodologies·        Flexible and adaptable in regard to learning and understanding new technologies·        Excellent leadership skills that lead to high execution of projects·        Excellent written and oral communication skills including the ability to negotiate·        Excellent interpersonal skills·        Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and investigative skills·        Strategic thinker·        Self-motivated and directed·        Keen attention to detail·        Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities·        Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment8x8 is proud to provide equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or genetics.
