Job Description

- Overseeing the Technology component of Tesco's Internal Controls over Financial Reporting assurance/attestation programme - Implementing and operating the IT General Controls and IT Automated Controls testing programme - Managing the design of IT General Controls framework, including implementing effective change management to maintain relevance and currency - Leading a team of IT controls specialists to deliver a high quality controls testing programme - Identifying opportunities for and driving continuous improvements in control testing and monitoring - Engaging with our Finance Function to ensure Finance and Technology remain aligned in relation to Key Financial Controls expectations and dependencies - Engaging with a range of senior colleagues to raise awareness and adoption of ICFR requirements, including: Technology functions, Group Risk and Audit, Process Owners, System Owners, external auditors

Qualifications

- Management-level experience of SOX / IT Internal Controls implementation and design improvement - Strong knowledge of IT auditing concepts and principles alongside understanding of IT General Controls, IT Automated Controls and IT-Dependent Controls - Knowledge of Financial Reporting, Corporate Governance and core financial end to end processes such as Customer to Cash, Procure to Pay, Record to Report - Leading teams across multiple locations

 At least one professional qualification such as CISA, CISM, CISSP or equivalent

- Critical thinking with strong attention to detail and good organisational skills - Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills, working with all levels of seniority and disciplines within the organisation - Strong cross-functional stakeholder management skills, able to build solid working relationships with peers as well as internal and external stakeholders - Coaching, mentoring and performance management of team members
