Compliance Analyst (6 month Contract)

Job Summary

Provides technical expertise in the development, maintenance, and oversight of key risks and control activities that support regulatory compliance for Vanguard EMEA entities.

Core Responsibilities

As a Compliance Analyst, you will;

• Provide risk and controls guidance to Global Technology Operations teams and partners in accordance with enterprise policies and industry practices
• Demonstrate experience in local regulations (EU DORA, EBA ICT Guidelines, Outsourcing, BaFin BaIT)
• Assist local Leadership in aligning process with regulatory requirements
• Assists with the identification and management of third party/outsourcing risks
• Develop processes and practices in line with industry practices
• Work with internal partners across divisional and subdivisional organizations to formalize and align processes with existing frameworks
• Assist leadership in crafting a risk culture in Europe and encouraging self-identified risks to surface
• Develop, own, and run compliance metrics, reporting, and actions
• Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Prepare and deliver experienced level visualizations and internal presentations that translate analytic insights into tangible, actionable solutions for business partners to implement

What it takes:

• Related work experience
• Proven related IT experience, including IT operations experience
• Foundational understanding of risk and controls management practices
• CISA and/or CISSP certifications preferred
• Foundational understanding of ITIL v4
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

Special Factors

• Vanguard is not offering visa sponsorship for this position.
• This is a hybrid position and would require you to work in the office location Tuesday-Thursday.
