Consultant cyber - Project Management- JIRA Specialist , Chennai - India

Our Cybersecurity Strategy Team works diligently to protect NielsenIQ’s data center and cloud components from cyber-attacks. We are driving a global security strategy through technology leader partnership, continuously evolving security approaches and alignment, analyzing industry frameworks and standards to drive more meaningful security outcomes, and actively searching for ways to drive more cohesive security capability delivery across our global estate.

Our Jira Specialist will be working in an organization where collaboration, together with best practice document, data and knowledge management are key elements of its operations and Jira is a key technology being used to address these needs. The candidate will have demonstrated extensive experience and expertise in all aspects of the duties and key responsibilities, and working within a small team of teams will be essential for the role of making a strong, hands-on contribution.   The Jira Specialist will take responsibility for all aspects of the design, architecture, development, deployment, operations, administration, training and support of key Jira infrastructure and business solutions used by the Cybersecurity team.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with stakeholders to collect and identify relevant project information to be documented in Jira
• Understand the collaboration, workflow, data and document management requirements and opportunities
• Provide expertise on all aspects of Jira, including configuration, customization, administration, and integration
• Work with cross-functional teams to implement Jira best practices and solutions
• Train and support users on how to use Jira effectively
• Develop and maintain Jira documentation and knowledge bases
• Stay up-to-date on the latest Jira features and best practices
• Develop and maintain work management standards

Qualifications

• Atlassian certified Jira Administrator is preferred
• Ability to write custom JQL (Jira Query Language)
• 3-5 years experience working with SmartSheets and its integration with Jira
• 2+ years experience working with Jira Service Desk
• Knowledge and experience working in an agile sprint-based environment – specifically using the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) is a plus
• Experience working in cybersecurity is a plus
