Technical Writer - Cloud Security

Are you a detail oriented, step by step thinker who has documented procedures in the past? Who you are: 

• Detail oriented, with an operational mindset - someone who can really hone in on documenting specifics of a process.
• Experienced in technical writing - experience in creating things such as : “user manuals, employee handbooks, standard operating procedures (SOP), software user documentation (help files), troubleshooting guides, and legal disclaimers”.
• Self-starter by nature, having led or managed projects that require business analysis. 
• Strong in both your written and verbal communication skills. 
• Past work in Microsoft suite - specifically using PowerPoint and Word on a regular basis. 
• Familiar with diagramming tools - Visio is what the team uses now. 

What you will do:

• Work with engineering teams, architects, and operational personnel to get initial information to be used for process and runbook documentation.
• Document your findings on protocols so that regulators can understand exactly what the firm is doing.
• Set meeting times, dig out information, and use your persistence to get time with people who have very packed schedules.
