Alongside the Threat Intelligence Analysts, your exceptional writing skills, combined with a deep understanding of cybersecurity, will allow you to bridge the gap between technical details and layman comprehension. Who You Are: 
Blackpoint Cyber is looking for someone who will: 

• Research and Analysis: Dive deep into the world of cybersecurity alongside Threat Intelligence Analysts to report on emerging threats, breaches, vulnerabilities, and cutting-edge security technologies. 

• Storytelling: Craft well-researched and compelling articles, features, news pieces, and investigative reports on cybersecurity topics for a diverse readership. 

• Interviews: Conduct interviews with cybersecurity experts, industry leaders, and technologists to provide authoritative insights and perspectives. 

• Editing and Proofreading: Collaborate with editors to refine content, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to journalistic standards. 

• Breaking News: Monitor cyber incidents and developments to deliver timely and accurate news coverage. 

• Community Engagement: Engage with readers, respond to comments, and foster discussions around cybersecurity issues. 

• Stay Current: Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threat landscape, and regulatory changes. 

• Data Visualization: Collaborate with graphic designers to create engaging visuals that enhance the understanding of complex concepts. 

What You’ll Bring: 

• Proven experience as a journalist, preferably in the field of cybersecurity or technology. 

• Strong writing skills, with the ability to convey technical information in an accessible and engaging manner. 

• Deep understanding of cybersecurity concepts, threat landscape, and industry trends. 

• Ability to research, fact-check, and produce accurate content under tight deadlines. 

• Excellent communication skills and an eye for detail. 

• Proficiency in using content management systems (CMS) and familiarity with SEO practices. 

• Strong ethical standards and commitment to balanced reporting. 

• A portfolio showcasing previous cybersecurity journalism work is highly desirable.
