Information Security Officer - 4803

ION is currently expanding its security function and are looking for an information security officer to join the ION information security team. The individual needs to be enthusiastic and focused on security policy governance, compliance and risk management.
Your duties and responsibilities
•       Act as an Information Security Subject Matter Expert (SME) to ION business functions globally.•       Raise awareness of ION security policies and standards and informing the business how to remain secure.•       Provide security guidance on projects and operations.•       Provide information security risk assessment functions to the business.•       Support customer security questionnaires / requests for procurement / audits including:·      Completion of comprehensive security questionnaires·      Engaging SMEs across the business to provide a response·      Collating security evidence for submission•       Support to Technical Information Security Officers (TISO) (distributed security representatives that are placed within the business).•       Support to penetration testing exercises and governance over remediation activities•       Generating security management reports and presentations.•       Assist in customer audits (either on-site or remotely).
Required skills, experience, and qualifications
•       At least 5 years information security experience.•       An information security or computer science degree or commensurate work experience.•       Good communication skills (written and spoken).•       The ability to understand complex issues and distill these down to root causes.
Preferred skills, experience, and qualifications
