Job Description

The SAP Security consultant will be part of Bosch SAP practice security team India, that supports all the Bosch Business Units SAP security Requirements. The scope of support includes day-to-day development, maintenance, and support of SAP Security roles, User and compliance management across multiple SAP landscapes.

Technical Expertise needed

·     Managing the configuration and administration of the SAP system, including setting up new users and roles, and maintaining system parameters.
• Conducting regular security audits and vulnerability assessments of SAP systems to identify and address potential security risks.
• Coordinating with IT teams and external security consultants to implement and maintain security controls.
• Investigating and responding to security incidents, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing remediation actions.
• Monitoring and reviewing SAP logs and security events to identify potential security threats and take appropriate action. Security Audit Log configuration which includes enable and configure the audit log, define the audit policies, review the audit log settings, and monitor the audit log.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable security, regulatory, and legal requirements, including data privacy, audit, and compliance standards.
• Identity management responsibilities involve the administration and control of user access to an organization's resources. This includes managing user accounts, roles, and permissions across different applications and systems, and ensuring that access is granted only to authorized users based on their job roles and responsibilities.
• Managing user access and authorization to SAP systems, ensuring that users have the appropriate access to perform their job duties while preventing unauthorized access.
• Governance and Audits - Application Security Officer acts as a single point of contact and coordinator between audit team and responsible departments.
• Emergency access management in SAP systems, includes the maintenance of emergency access accounts, monitoring and reporting on emergency access activity, managing emergency access requests and approvals and documentation of the events for the audit.
• SAP system administration tasks like system/client opening and closing that involve managing access to SAP systems and documentation for the audit.
• Configure and maintain SAP RFC connections between SAP systems and external systems, such as third-party applications or other SAP systems.
• Knowledge in SAP Transport Management System and ChaRM.
• Experience with SAP RFC connection management tools.
• Experience with non-dialog user management in SAP systems and Non-SAP, including user creation, authorization management, and monitoring.
• Experience in managing SAP Remote Support (OSS) access.
• Working knowledge of segregation of duties within an SAP environment and able to design and build SAP roles accordingly.
• Working experience in SAP HANA that involves create and maintain HANA database users and roles, including authentication, authorization and resolving technical issues.
• Hands-on working knowledge of SAP roles and authorizations in both end user and project environment.

Qualifications

Minimum 15 years of fulltime Education with graduate degree in Engineering or Computer Science field
