About this Role:

We are looking for an experienced and talented Principal Security Engineer, reporting to Head of Security Solutions, to join The Missing Link Security Engineering Team. The Principal Security Engineer will have vast knowledge within the IT Security industry which includes at least five years hands-on experience as well as knowledge of a range of security products, technologies, and solution offerings. Ideally you will have in depth networking security experience who has a strong security background and is passionate to join our security team taking part and leading security engineering projects.

The successful candidate can be based out of our Sydney or Melbourne office.

Requirements

• Lead the Security Engineering Team
• Ongoing certification training and renewal as required by the business
• 3 or more years of experience with NGFWs (e.g., Fortinet, Palo Alto, Checkpoint etc)
• Experience with SIEM and VM platforms such as Rapid7, Tenable, Splunk & Exabeam
• Strong debugging, analytical and problem-solving abilities
• 2 or more years of experience with FWs (e.g., Fortinet, Palo Alto, Checkpoint etc)
• Experience with Network Security stack such as WAF, Sandbox, TAP, SD-WAN solutions
• Experience with Zscaler or Bluecoat or similar Web-proxy solution
• Experience with CASB solutions such as Netskope
• Strong debugging, analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Fortinet NSE4, CCNP Sec, Palo Alto PCNSE, Check Point CCSE or equivalent
• Defence Force experience is desirable
