Job Description

In the automotive industry, the development of electric steering systems is growing and playing a more and more important role for autonomous driving. In this development, innovative software is a key differentiator. Electronic controls allow new and exciting and original functions in the field of driver assistance, driving comfort and driving dynamics.

Your contribution to something big

Development of customer specific embedded software components for Electric Control Units:

• Establish Know How of Cyber Security in the Electronic Power Steering context within the organization.
• Supporting the Security domain of Software and Hardware Projects
• Responsible for the concepts and realization of SW modules dealing with data access control, communication encryption and authentication
• System-  and Software - Requirements analysis, effort estimations, module design, implementation, integration, testing and  debugging
• Active participation and responsibility in each phase of projects from start to production
• Direct communication and negotiation of Cyber Security relevant topics to external and internal Stakeholders

Qualifications

What distinguishes you

• Bsc/Msc in computer science, automation, electronics and telecommunications, informatics, mathematics or comparable.
• 3+ years of experience with embedded software development in the automotive industry and strong C programming skills
• 2+ years of experience with technical coordination in the field of Cyber Security
• Experience with one or more of the fieldbus systems (e.g.: CAN, CANFD, FlexRay, Ethernet)
• Experience with vehicle Diagnosis (e.g.: OBD, UDS, KWP2000)
• Experience with functional safety for road vehicles (ISO26262)
• An Advantage is experience with the following: Industrialization of Security Relevant Systems
• English advanced (German skills are an advantage)
• Good communication and problem solving skills
