We are currently seeking a Dallas or US-based Cybersecurity Risk and Compliance Senior Manager to join our Security team. This position will play a critical hands-on role in driving Digital Shadows' risk and compliance programs. This role isn't just focused on "check box security;" Digital Shadows focuses on a risk-based approach to cybersecurity. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, able to work both independently and cross functionally in a fast-paced, global, and dynamic working environment.

Requirements

· Responsible for all of Digital Shadows' compliance efforts, including compliance with external regulations/frameworks ranging from but not limited to ISO27001.

· Enable and assist with completing Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and security compliance questionnaires for our clients and prospects.

· Manage Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) implementation

· Establish auditing procedures, support, and perform internal audits.

· Review evidence provided to validate controls are implemented effectively

· Maintain, review, and interpret policy documentation supporting ISO27001 to drive consistent, reliable, and repeatable activities.

· Identify, document, and manage risks associated with control failures and support the identification of mitigating controls

· Coordinate Digital Shadows' change control activities

· Assist the Data Protection Officer (DPO) with privacy and GDPR support as needed.

· Provide security recommendations for cloud-based and on-premises systems and communicate weaknesses and risks to stakeholders.

· Work closely with other business units to identify solutions and create action plans to mitigate risk based on regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

· Coordinate with and assist third-party auditors.

· Oversee, perform and document risk assessments of new and/or changing third-party vendors to understand the potential impact on Digital Shadows

· Manage the development and implementation of security awareness, training, and continuous improvement efforts.

· Coaches, counsels and develops team members. Defines individual performance objections and development plans and ensures alignment.

NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS:

Direct experience and proven success in information security, compliance, or audit.

Proven track record of ISO27001 Information Security Management System success

Knowledge and experience with various security frameworks, privacy regulations, and information security standards like GDPR, CCPA, NIST CSF, SOX, SOC 2

  • In-depth knowledge in information technology, security controls, and risk assessments.
  • Experience with policy development, contract proposals, work statements, vendor reviews, and product evaluations.
  • Experience with internal audits and compliance.
  • Experience engaging executive-level leadership, business owners, stakeholders and customers.
  • Experience managing GRC solutions
  • Excellent ability to work with various business units to define, prioritize and negotiate goals.
  • Strong written and verbal skills. exceptional organizational, multi-tasking, and project management skills.

This opportunity is not available for paid relocation; any relocation expenses must be borne by the job candidate. This is a full-time role and may include some evenings or weekends.
