Cloud Security Product Engineer

Horangi is looking for Cloud Engineers to build our Cloud Security Platform for major cloud providers. Horangi is constantly collecting and processing real-world cyber security data. Together with our team of engineers, you will analyse cloud infrastructure, identify security gaps and pitfalls, understand best practises and encode these insights into our cloud security product.
You have a strong interest in cloud technology, and enjoy the fast pace and dynamic culture of DevSecOps. You enjoy using open-source tools, appreciate containerisation technology, and have a strong interest in security in the cloud. You have a builder mindset and are always curious about emerging cloud technology. What you’ll be doing

• You will write python codes to collect cloud infrastructure data
• You will analyse data across multiple data sources and perform correlation
• You will encode security inspection into rules based on our framework
• You will test the rules for correctness and completeness
• You will create remediation solutions for cloud vulnerabilities using NodeJS or Terraform
• You will collaborate on a daily basis with a small, nimble team of product managers, engineers, and cybersecurity specialists to understand business requirements and product goals

Who we’re looking for

• You have at least 2 years experience in software engineering
• You have a good understanding of how various cloud services work from at least one of the Cloud Service Providers like AWS, GCP, Azure, Alicloud or Huawei Cloud
• You have strong interest or relevant experience in Cyber Security related fields or products
• You have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent training, fellowship, or work experience

Bonus points if you have

• Relevant cloud certification is a strong bonus
• Good experience with Container technologies
• Contributed to open source projects
