Join the Office of the CISO team, a sub-component of the Customer Security & Trust team within the Security Organization and help set the bar for cloud security!
ServiceNow’s OCISO team leverages its diverse, highly skilled security background and expertise to help enhance ServiceNow’s internal and external security program and communicate ServiceNow’s commitment to security to the world.
The global team works closely with other components within ServiceNow on security-related topics and directly interfaces with ServiceNow customers.
This critical position values integrity, quality, expertise, precision, communication, and efficiency and is looking for security professionals with developing established security backgrounds and excellent communications.
The successful candidate will bring a new perspective to ServiceNow and its ecosystem and will be able to successfully work together with audiences ranging from technical developers to customers.
What you get to do in this role:
Work closely with other components in ServiceNow’s security organization and with the sales, legal, and product teams on security-related topics.
Work directly with customers, prospects, and partners to address security-related questions related to ServiceNow’s cloud-based service
Directly support the ServiceNow Sales Team in pre- and Post Sales opportunities
Coordinate and manage end-to-end customer cloud security experience
Complete security-related questionnaires
Conduct security review of contracts
Present at conferences, internal, customer, and public
Lead security conversations
Rebut cloud technology myths
Communicate delicate aspects of security incidents and investigations to customers
Document/communicate recommended structural/design changes to advance the security posture of ServiceNow’s cloud environment and the subscription service
Participation in Executive level discussions and presentations with Partners and Customers
Research and understand cloud threats
Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in Regulated Markets and new product offerings (Now on Azure, Now on AWS)
To be successful in this role, you will:

[Requirement] Experience with the following US Federal security laws and standards - FedRAMP, FISMA, NIST Risk Management Framework, NIST SP 800-53
Experience in a customer support role is desired
Bachelor’s degree in a Computer Science related major is highly desired
Understanding of Cloud Service Providers, Cloud Operations and Cloud Computing
Desired Industry Certifications: CISSP, CISM, CSSP, CEH, OSCP or equivalent
Excellent presentation and communication skills (E.G., strong customer-facing skills)
Hands-on Security Incident Handling and remediation experience is desired
Understanding of Internet security protocols and technologies
Understanding of Threat analysis and enterprise cyber defense techniques
Understanding of Security Operations
Ability to articulate complex issues to peers, executives, and customers
Strong interpersonal skills
Self-motivated and driven; ability to perform and excel with little supervision
Excellent collaborator and teammate; ability to foster and feed off coworkers
