Senior Security Engineer

We’re looking for a Senior Security Engineer who shares our passion for innovation and collaboration. We will rely on you to ensure our platform's security. To protect our infrastructure, applications, and customer information, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams. Your expertise will help us create a secure environment which safeguards our operations and fosters user trust.

Salary:
B2B: 150 - 170 PLN/h

Location:
Kraków, Lublin, Remote (EU based)

Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain security solutions and controls to safeguard data, systems, and applications
• Keep an eye out for and evaluate security alerts and occurrences, and take preventative measures to lower risk and efficiently handle security problems
• To detect and address potential vulnerabilities and threats, conduct frequent security assessments, vulnerability assessments, and penetration tests
• Advice and instruction on secure coding techniques and security awareness
• Participate in incident response planning, coordination, and execution
• Create and manage security policies, procedures, and documentation

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years experience in information security or a related field
• Experience with network security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems
• A strong knowledge of information security concepts and best practices and proven experience as a Security Engineer or similar role.
• Understanding security tools, vulnerability scanning, and penetration testing is essential.
• Experience in programming and scripting languages
• Knowledge of cloud security principles and containerization.
• Ability to communicate complex security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
