Our user base has doubled in the last year alone, and we have paid over $2 billion directly to creators on our platform. In order to support this level of growth, Patreon is looking for a  Physical Security Specialist  to join our Workplace (RE-WS)  team.

What you will do:

  • Design, develop, and implement physical security operations for all Patreon offices 
  • Design and implement operational standards for security systems, stay on top of security trends and new threats/technologies
  • Perform physical security risk and threat assessments at our offices
  • Complete Safety audits
  • Deploys procedures, standards, training, and methods for identifying/protecting employees/offices against theft, assault, vandalism, and physical harm at the workplace 
  • Performs executive risk assessment and mitigation plan
  • Work with IT, and real estate to establish physical security build standards 
  • Involved in the office builds process to carry out physical security for new offices
  • Work with the legal team to define physical security policies for Patreon’s global offices
  • Responsible for day to day physical security operations 
  • Oversight of the reception team 
  • Design a visitor management process 
  • Maintain relationships with IT and Information security 
  • Design the program around scaling physical security at Patreon  

Skills and experience you possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years combined experience of physical security, law enforcement, and/or military
  • Knowledge of risk-threat analysis
  • In depth SME around vulnerability assessments, and enterprise security monitoring
  • Executive protection principles and concepts
  • Workplace access control systems, emergency response planning and investigative practices and protocols
  • CPR/First Aid certification
  • APP, CPP, or PSP certified 

Projects you may work on:

  • Global badge roll out
  • Global badging system roll out  
  • Workplace physical threat analysis
