Amazon Robotics is located in the greater Boston area, the epicenter of robotics innovation. We are seeking a Security Engineering Manager to join the Amazon Robotics IT team. If you’re passionate about solving security problems at scale and want to join a fast-paced organization, then we’d like to talk to you. You will manage a team of talented security engineers responsible for ensuring Amazon Robotics is operating in a safe and secure network and environment. In this role, your team is responsible for protecting the Amazon Robotic networks, facilities, and systems as well as production deployments that interact with the larger Amazon corporate network. This team manages third-party security, vulnerability management, security reviews, access management, SOX/SOD compliance, data privacy, and ensuring alignment with corporate InfoSec guidance, policy, and procedures. The ideal candidate will be driven to transform the environment and looking for ways to leverage automation to drive efficiencies, as well as moving the organization into a DevSecOps mindset across all teams.

Responsibilities Include:
· Actively support and foster a culture of inclusion
· Manage and lead a team of security engineers responsible for end-to-end Cybersecurity and InfoSec priorities within Robotics IT
· Develop, own, and execute the Robotics IT Information Security strategy, using a combination of in-house and third-party solutions
· Collaborate with partner technology and security teams on information security issues, providing strategic leadership and insights into securing our diverse subsidiary networks
· Own all facets of team hiring, performance management and career development
· Implementing processes that transform the team into a DevSecOps model

Basic Qualifications


· BA/BS in computer science, information security, related discipline
· 5+ years of experience leading, managing, and developing high performance security teams
· 5+ years of hands-on experience of information security technologies such as security design review, threat modeling, risk analysis, security controls and processes such as passive network monitoring, endpoint detection and response, incident response, vulnerability management
· Proven experiance in business risk analysis and making complex business/risk trade-off recommendations and decisions
· Experiance in information security risk-based prioritization
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

· Hands-on managing in a DevSecOps environment
· Experience working in a diverse, global, environment
· Experience with product security, manufacturing, or robotics
· Experience with business engagement, relationship management, or account management
· Information security professional certifications encouraged (SANS GIAC, CISSP etc.)
· Experience incorporating threat risk, costs, technology, business, and industry context into security solutions
· Proven track record of inventing, evolving, improving and simplifying security solutions
· Experience building 3-5 year strategic roadmaps aligned to a North Star vision
