6 month fixed term contract (3-4 days’ p/w)

What You Will Do:

  • Role sits in Legal department, focusing on data privacy
  • Supporting the privacy function by:

-Updating processing activity register and data maps

-Reviewing privacy impact assessments

-Supporting data subject request enquiries

-Researching emerging laws and privacy/regulatory developments

-Draft simple privacy assessments

-Preparing simple agreements

-Support the broader Compliance team by creating training materials for internal data privacy events as well as to support learning and development initiatives

Skills required:

  • Highly literate in MSWord, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proactive approach is a must
  • Ability to manage a busy workload
  • Strong written and verbal relationship skills with an ability to build solid working relationships
  • A proven track record of coming up to speed to learn new areas or skills quickly
  • Opportunity to develop regulatory expertise in a fast-moving global technology company.
  • Work with other members of the legal department as well as colleagues in Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales & HR.
  • Prior experience in data privacy preferred, including exposure to the GDPR in a business or academic setting.
  • Candidates with prior experience working with data privacy tools and systems will be highly regarded.
