Who You Are:

You are an experienced information security professional, with a great track record managing the execution of security programs. You excel in planning and delivering results and relish working with others to achieve critical security outcomes. You recognize that security is not just technology, and that security is a balance between risk and reward. You place value on the foundations required to sustain a high-growth company security posture and drive down risk. You will work directly with our Vice President of Information Security, the Director of Risk and Compliance, and the rest of the Arctic Wolf pack to maintain accountability and progress.

About the Role:

  • Continually enhance the fundamentals of our security program from the security control framework, policy, standards and guidelines. Help us do well, what we say we do.
  • Work with our Director of Risk and Compliance to execute organizational risk assessments and threat model our business. Help us address the risks we have, not just the risks we know how to address.
  • Maintain and extend our Business Continuity Plan, Business Impact Assessment and Disaster Recovery activities to keep our business resilient.
  • Support our Sales organization to ensure that customers and prospects have a complete picture of our security posture to maintain the confidence they place in Arctic Wolf.
  • Contribute to a world-class security program that supports Arctic Wolf’s tremendous growth.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in a security management capacity, preferably with experience helping to build a capable team.
  • Strong project management skills to ensure accountability and results.
  • Good understanding of major security disciplines: defensive, offensive, architecture, engineering & software development.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, especially translating between business and technical terminology.
  • Ability to work under pressure across multiple stakeholders.

And you may have these additional skills and experience:

  • Familiarity with security compliance frameworks, such as SOC 2, ISO 27001:2013, NIST, etc.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related technical field; or equivalent experience.
  • Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GSTRT, GSLC, etc. are considered preferentially

Employment Requirements:

Each successful candidate will be required to pass a criminal background check and an employment verification as a condition of employment.

Working at Arctic Wolf:

Arctic Wolf recognizes that success comes from delighting our customers, so we work together to ensure that happens every day. We believe in diversity and inclusion, and truly value the unique qualities all employees bring to the organization. All wolves receive compelling compensation and benefits packages, including:

  • Equity for all employees
  • Paid paternity and maternity leave
  • Training and career development programs

If you're excited about this role, but do not meet all of the qualifications listed above, we encourage you to apply anyway. We review all applications and still may consider you the right person for the role or have another open position where you’re the perfect fit.
