We are currently seeking an IT Security Director who will report to the 

 Requirements

  • Our Federal contracts require that you be a U.S. Citizen to be eligible for employment.

What You’ll Do

Our IT Security Director is responsible for the development, execution, and continual improvement of Ad Hoc’s corporate security policies and procedures. This involves developing policies and procedures that ensure the company is protecting the data of its employees and its customers. The goal of the information security practice is to help make Ad Hoc a more resilient company, reducing the harm of and susceptibility to information security threats. Through the implementation of security practices and collaboration with the rest of the organization, our Director will first and foremost be responsible for making Ad Hoc as real-world secure as is practicable given the threat model, budget, and resources, and through these actions,  help maintain compliance with ISO 27001, 20000, and 9001, as well as CMMI quality standards. Our Director will routinely  assess, quantify, prioritize, and mitigate risks to information security at Ad Hoc.

The role is intensely cross-functional and will require the incumbent to work across many different parts of the company, including finance/administration, human resources, as well as with the program security staff that support our delivery teams.  You will work closely with the IT Team, and will support their activities to ensure that Ad Hoc employees have both excellent tools and processes, as well as secure information technology practices.

What You'll Bring 

Previous experience building new IT and information security policies and procedures within a matrixed environment

Knowledge of and expertise in ISO 20000, 270001 required; CMMI, ISO 9001, and CMMC preferred

Systems thinking and ability to operationalize complex projects

Comfort working through ambiguity; a self-starter who is capable of serving as a trusted a advisor to a wide range of stakeholders 

Previous experience and knowledge of government contracting highly preferred

Our ideal candidate will have experience working in a matrixed environment, has knowledge of government contracting and related standards, and is comfortable building new systems and approaches to support a fast-growing company.
