Dark Wolf Solutions is looking for a Cybersecurity Practitioner to provide technical expertise in applied information security solutions and is well versed in implementation and monitoring of the security controls necessary to bring and keep information systems into compliance with applicable security policies and best practices.

The Cybersecurity Practitioner will author and maintain system documentation, such as system diagrams, test plans, change management, etc.

The Cybersecurity Practitioner is also expected to monitor various cybersecurity related media/ data sources in order to keep apprised of relevant events, issues, and topics and will provide timely notification and/or educational materials/briefings to the workforce when appropriate.

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of combined real-world experience with the following:
    • Deriving applicable system security controls
    • Utilizing industry standard network and system security tools
    • Implementing and monitoring cyber security solutions
    • Creating and maintaining detailed system documentation
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and customer service skills
  • Working knowledge of information system security industry standards, fundamental security principles, information security best practices and related technologies
  • HS Diploma
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required

Desired Qualifications:

  • Applicable information security certifications (ex. SSCP, CSX-P etc.) desired
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security or related fields preferred
  • Experience on computer incident response teams; administering related processes/ procedures
  • Aptitude for diagnosing, troubleshooting and resolving common technical system security issues
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and customer service skills
