Senior IAM Engineer - Location Flexible - Veterans Encouraged to Apply

Role Description

Dropbox is committed to having a world class identity management platform. In this role, you will be the engineering expert on all things IAM, IdP, & SaaS user life cycle management.  You will be apart of the development of Dropbox’s next generation IAM team. As Dropbox leads the way in being a virtual first company, you will help establish Zero Trust principles, device trust, and dynamic access controls. 

Responsibilities

• Lead efforts surrounding scalable automation for Okta
• Mentor junior IAM engineering staff
• Integrate IAM systems with in-house applications, third party applications and SaaS applications for provisioning, identity authentication, and developing connectors between IAM tools and system resources  
• Partner with our Enterprise Security team on our Zero Trust program
• Work across functions to improve IAM solutions to enhance compliance requirements and best practices  
• Work with relevant compliance teams to research and translate global regulatory requirements pertaining to access management and identity governance into technical solutions   
• Manage all aspects of large, cross functional, globally distributed and complex projects 
• Verify that the user experience is always best of class

Requirements

• Experience managing Okta
• Security first mindset
• Experience building integrations across various systems utilizing APIs
• Understanding of role based access control, SOD, regulatory compliance (SOX, SOC 1 & SOC 2, PCI DSS)
• Understanding of identity & authentication standards/protocols (SAML, oAuth, OIDC)
• Experience implementing multiple access control strategies and their comparative strengths (e.g. RBAC, PBAC, ABAC)
• Ability to successfully partner with and influence multi-functional internal partners
• Ability to champion efforts and continuously drive for change and growth
