Whether it is securely orchestrating thousands of VMs in milliseconds or appropriately handling trillions of requests every month, there are no shortages of security challenges on AWS Lambda that security engineers on the AWS Lambda Security team is responsible for help solve. Our security engineers work hand-in-hand with our developers to enable them to deliver the most secure product possible. By continuously keeping security in the forefront of everything that we do at Lambda, we strive to continuously improve our security model for our customers every day. Our security engineers work in areas such as data management, low latency security, identity & access management, hardware, virtualization, sandboxing, and other related computer technology areas.

AWS Lambda (https://aws.amazon.com/lambda) rapidly drives innovation in the cloud computing ecosystem in unique and exciting ways. AWS Lambda functions enable hundreds of thousands of current customers to run code for virtually any type of application or backend service - all with zero administration. At its core AWS Lambda functions offer customers a "serverless" way to create applications. This approach enables customers to turn business logic and application code into scalable, fault-tolerant production systems without requiring every developer to become an expert in distributed systems, deployment technologies, and infrastructure management.
