Job Description

Your Career 

As a senior member of the Attack Surface Risk team, you will work on designing, implementing both technology and processes that will ensure the highest levels of security of our cloud infrastructure. We need a creative and innovative problem solver, who can partner with our Product and IT teams to make their services more usable without compromising on security. 

Your Impact 

  • Function as the Subject Matter Expert on Cloud Compute, Network, Storage, Web Services, Architecture, and Design
  • Implement and execute security policies across cloud environments including AWS SCP, GCP Organization Policy, Azure Policy, VPC-SC, along with organizational, folder, and resource level policies
  • Evaluate security controls, design standards, drive changes across the organization
  • Investigate and Remediate security issues across multiple clouds at scale, with a focus on automating remediation
  • Participate in Design Reviews for Cloud Infrastructure security changes and standards
  • Identify and drive opportunities to improve automation for code deployment, cloud configuration management, and visibility of security services
  • Drive adoption of cloud security features globally
  • Automate basic security enforcement tasks using code

Qualifications

Your Experience 

  • 8+ years of experience in Security Engineering, Cloud Operations, or Cloud Automation
  • 4+ years in DevSecOps, DevOps, Site Reliability, CI/CD, or Infrastructure Engineering
  • 2+ years expertise in securing cloud computing and its related services
  • Strong experience in AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud environments
  • Proficient in coding/scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell, YAML, JSON, etc.), and version control systems (e.g., GitHub, GitLab)
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies, serverless computing event-driven architectures (e.g., AWS Lambda, GCP Cloud Functions, Azure Functions), and containerization/container orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, GKE, EKS)
  • Familiarity with Data Warehousing, Analysis, Manipulation, and Enrichment using technologies such as BigQuery
  • Familiarity with various Web APIs such as REST API, Web Sockets, or Webhooks
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline tools like GitLab, Jenkins, Artifactory, Terraform, Helm, or Cloud Custodian
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, able to collaborate and rally support
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team
  • Self-disciplined, self-managed, self-motivated, and strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex distributed systems handling high-volume transactions

Education

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university or equivalent training, education, and experience in information / cyber security, computer systems, IT, etc. or equivalent military experience required

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/com-missioned roles) is expected to be between $141,900/yr to $229,550/yr. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. A description of our employee benefits may be found here.
