The Impact You'll Be Contributing to Moloco:

A Senior Compliance Analyst helps protect the organization's sensitive data, mitigates security and privacy risks, and builds trust with customers, partners, and regulatory bodies. Additionally, their work contributes to maintaining the organization's reputation, avoiding legal and financial penalties, and fostering a culture of security and privacy awareness throughout the organization. Ultimately, the role helps create a secure and privacy-respecting environment for the organization and its stakeholders.

Here’s what you’ll be working on:
This role will be primarily focused on ensuring the organization's adherence to security and privacy standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. The responsibilities may include assessing, implementing, and monitoring security and privacy controls, conducting compliance audits, managing privacy-related policies and procedures, conducting privacy impact assessments, facilitating data protection training and awareness programs, and driving continuous improvement in the organization's security and privacy compliance posture.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, implement, and monitor security and privacy controls to ensure compliance with security standards, privacy regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Conduct internal audits to assess adherence to relevant security and privacy requirements and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement robust security and privacy controls and safeguard the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems and data.
  • Address privacy regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, or other applicable privacy laws, ensuring compliance and protection of personal data.
  • Support incident response activities, including investigations and implementation of corrective actions for security and privacy incidents.
  • Stay updated with evolving security and privacy regulations, standards, and best practices, ensuring ongoing compliance.
  • Prepare compliance reports for management and stakeholders, highlighting our security and privacy posture and progress.
  • Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate audit activities and ensure compliance with security and privacy requirements.

Here is what you need to succeed (Experience & Qualifications)

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of work experience in the following areas: 
    • IT Auditing
    • Privacy Compliance: GDPR, CCPA, CPRA, etc. 
    • Cyber Security
    • Risk Management
  • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) preferred. Other relevant certifications accepted: ISO 27001 Lead Auditor/Implementer and Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP), etc. 
  • Strong knowledge of security standards, regulations, and frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, GDPR, etc.
  • Familiarity with security technologies, privacy principles, controls, and best practices.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills for assessing and addressing security and privacy risks.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and drive security and privacy compliance initiatives.
  • Detail-oriented approach and ability to work independently.
  • Continual learning mindset to stay abreast of evolving security, privacy, and regulatory trends and technologies.
  • Willingness to stretch your comfort zone

Our Compensation And Benefits (for California & New York State Residents Only)

Base Compensation Range: $98,792 - $148,188

 

In accordance with California & New York state law, the range provided is a reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills and abilities. We also offer a competitive benefits package.
