Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and experienced Microsoft Azure Security Consultant to join our team. As an Azure Security Consultant, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust security solutions within the Microsoft Azure platform to protect our clients' critical assets and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Your deep understanding of Azure security services, best practices, and industry trends will be invaluable in guiding our clients through complex security challenges. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their security requirements, assess their existing Azure environment, and develop comprehensive Azure security strategies.
  • Design and implement Azure security solutions, including network security, identity and access management, data protection, and threat detection and response.
  • Conduct security assessments and audits of Azure environments to identify vulnerabilities, risks, and compliance gaps, and provide recommendations for remediation.
  • Configure and manage Azure security services such as Azure Active Directory, Azure Security Center, Azure Sentinel, Azure Information Protection, and Azure Key Vault.
  • Develop and enforce Azure security policies, standards, and guidelines to ensure consistent security practices across the organization.
  • Implement security controls and monitoring mechanisms to detect and mitigate security incidents, intrusions, and data breaches.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Azure security solutions with existing security infrastructure and tools.
  • Provide security expertise and guidance to clients during the planning and implementation of Azure services and projects.
  • Stay up to date with the latest Azure security features, industry trends, and regulatory requirements, and ensure compliance in Azure environments.
  • Conduct security awareness training and knowledge sharing sessions for clients and internal teams to promote security best practices.
  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive security reports and recommendations to clients, highlighting potential risks and proposing actionable solutions.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on Azure security, participating in industry events, forums, and conferences as necessary.


Requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate or Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) are highly desirable.
  • Proven experience as an Azure Security Consultant or a similar role, with a focus on designing and implementing Azure security solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of Azure security services, features, and best practices, including Azure RBAC, Azure Firewall, Azure Virtual Network, Azure Security Center, and Azure Sentinel.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security principles, network security, identity and access management, encryption, and data protection.
  • Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI DSS.
  • Experience with security assessment tools, vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, and security incident response in Azure environments.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or similar tools for security configuration and management.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve complex security issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and priorities.
  • Continuous learning mindset with a passion for staying updated on the latest security trends, threats, and technologies.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Azure Advanced Threat Protection, Azure Information Protection, and Azure Key Vault for data protection and encryption.
  • Knowledge of Azure DevOps security practices and secure software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.
  • Understanding of container security principles in the context of Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Azure Container Registry.
  • Familiarity with Azure governance, security, and compliance frameworks, such as Azure Policy, Azure Security Benchmark, and Azure Sentinel.
  • Experience with Azure security automation and orchestration using Azure
