Team Overview

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Cyber Security Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for configuring and integrating the Vector AUTOSAR Cyber Security Stack into our automotive systems. This position will work collaboratively with our development teams to ensure the security of our products.

Responsibilities

  • Configure and integrate Vector AUTOSAR Cyber Security Stack into automotive systems
  • Develop and maintain firmware cyber security strategies and policies
  • Work collaboratively with firmware feature owners to integrate security features into firmware
  • Conduct security assessments and penetration testing
  • Implement security measures and countermeasures to mitigate security threats
  • Participate in code and design reviews to identify potential security risks
  • Develop and implement secure coding practices and perform code reviews
  • Work with Embedded C to develop and test automotive applications
  • Work on security aspects of automotive ADAS applications
  • Provide customer support for cybersecurity related queries and issues
  • Work on vehicle integration and validation of cybersecurity features

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in Automotive Cyber Security engineering
  • Experience with Vector AUTOSAR Cyber Security Stack configuration and integration
  • Knowledge of automotive cyber security standards (ISO 26262, SAE J3061, etc.)
  • Strong Embedded C programming skills and experience with automotive ADAS applications
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

At Luminar, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. This role pays a base between EUR $94,000 and EUR $134,000* per year. Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. You will also be eligible to receive other benefits including: equity in the form of restricted stock unit awards, comprehensive medical and dental coverage, 401k plan, life and disability benefits, flexible time off, paid parental leave, and tuition reimbursement for formal education related to advancing your career at Luminar. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire and schedule type.

*Note that the pay range listed for this position is a good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible base compensation at the time of posting.
