TS DevSecOps Architect - Hybrid

Title: TS/SCI Senior Systems Engineer (DevSecOps, Cloud, Software)

Location: Hybrid - Charlottesville VA, 2X per month on site

Position Overview:

The Senior Systems Engineer will be supporting a federal contract with the US Army-MI Intelligence Community for their National Ground Intelligence Center(NGIC). The Senior Systems Engineer will work on implementation of Secure Risk Management framework (RMF), cloud brokering architectures and required cloud services on the Top Secret, Secret, and Unclassified domains.

Responsibilities:

• Implement secure, Risk Management Framework(RMF) accredited cloud brokering domains
• Design, architecture, Infrastructure as code, networking and core services necessary to facilitate
  cloud adoption across all network domains
• Provide a foundation from which Army MI applications can reach cyber authorization more
  efficiently
• Utilize cloud technology and automaton to reduce data center infrastructure, while enhancing
  overall security.

Requirements:

• BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics
• 15 years’ experience in designing and implementing information management systems may
  substitute for academic degree of software development experience with programming, scripting,
  or markup languages
• 10 years’ experience designing and implementing management systems
• 3 years of recent experience in product development, requirements generation, and testing
  methodologies, including direct control and responsibility over subordinate engineers(including
  working requirements, design, implementation, and testing of distributed cloud applications and
  services)
• 5 years’ software development experience with programming, scripting, or markup languages( i.e.
  Java, JavaScript, Bash, Ansible, Python, C, C++, C#, XML, JSON, or YAML)
• Experience with provisioning, installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of software
  and infrastructure-as-code in a DevSecOps and continuous delivery environment using tools such
  as Terraform, Vault/Secrets Manager, and with Platform as a Service technologies
• Experience with Linux operating systems, command-line interfaces, network technologies
  including DNS and load balancing
• 3 years’ Recent experience in development, implementation, and administration of multi-tenant,
  enterprise web-based solutions using automated processes and tools to perform system
  availability and integrity monitoring, validate security and configuration compliance, and ensure
  sensitive data protection
• 3 years Recent experience with commercial cloud service providers engineering solutions in a
  Linux multi-tenant environment or commercial cloud services(AWS)
• IAT Level II baseline and computing environment certifications such as Security +
• AWS Certification(30 days after start date)
• US Citizenship and an active Top Secret security clearance, SCI eligible required
