System Engineer Level 1 - Zero Trust

Athenix Cyber & SIGINT is seeking a System Engineer Level 1 - Zero Trust to work in the Annapolis Junction, MD area.  

Provide technical writing support to the ICAM/Zero Trust team. Candidates will support the development of ICAM products to support Zero Trust(ZT) security implementations. The candidate will work within the ZT ICAM team and with the existing ICAM capability teams to document release notes, installation and user guides, frameworks, SOPs, and plans, the concept of operations, troubleshooting steps, and content for portal implementations. Other duties will include, researching, documenting technical decisions, capturing meeting notes, and establishing processes. Provide technical expertise in industry standards and federal and DoD policies. The candidate will also assist the software developers with tracking requirements, sprint planning, and scheduling, support to design changes and testing support.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree, 12 years experience with no degree
• Seven (7) years of experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.

• Knowledge of CAPCO and CUI Standards
• Knowledge of ABAC and ICAM Capabilities and integration
• Experience with SW development methodologies
• Ability to work across multi-disciplinary teams to capture content for documentation
• Experience developing briefings and documents for senior-level management
• Demonstrated engineering experience on programs with requirements, functional analysis, and allocation, conducting system requirement reviews, developing CONOPS and system architectures
• Able to work independently as well as a group
