What we can offer you! - Your Role:

In this diverse role of high impact within our matrix organization, we are hiring an energized, inclusive, and forward-thinking Senior Cyber Security Analyst to join our global IT team in Israel (remote working) with a direct reporting line to our Cyber Security Engineer Supervisor based in the U.S.

Your Mission:

  • While supporting and coaching junior cyber security analysts, you will play a key role in protecting our organization's valuable data and our computer networks from cyberattacks and unauthorized access by trying to anticipate and defend against cyber threats and responding to security breaches.
  • Traveling domestically and internationally for up to 5% of your time and working flexibly on a global clock, you will provide consulting support to the business units in implementing secure business solutions and responding to security incidents
  • Next to participating in vendor advisory committees, threat intel organizations, and other industry knowledge-sharing groups, as well as researching emerging attacks and performing threat-hunting activities, you will perform incident response handling, documentation and management of forensic evidence, meeting SLAs and customer experience metrics, and monitor SIEM and other tools for suspicious system activity to handle investigations using proper forensic methodologies and regulations.
  • Collaborating with our cybersecurity engineers, you will evaluate new security technologies to integrate existing systems, develop and maintain detection policies and alerts, including tuning for efficacy, and propose new uses for existing technologies to improve data quality and reduce risk. 
  • Eventually, you will test and aid in implementing appropriate detections, including documentation of incidents and playbooks, assist with installing and configuring safeguards at appropriate points in our network, and train and assist junior analysts in completing their job duties.

Qualifications

What we expect from you! - Your Expertise:

  • Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Cyber Security or a related background, ideally combined with relevant security industry certifications (CISSP, CCNP, etc.)
  • Previous work experience of 3+ years in information / cyber security management, including endpoints, incident response, network, application, or architecture, as well as with EDR, SIEM, and cloud technologies, preferably in manufacturing or operational technology environments
  • Project management experience and familiarity with technology concepts across Windows, UNIX, database, network, and web
  • Passion and interest in security, the latest threats, and regex, scripting, and/or API calls are welcome
  • Strong influencing and communication skills
