What You Will Do:
Participate on a team that will conduct system audits for a large (finance-oriented) government agency. Run vulnerability scans using tools such as Nessus (for networks and operating systems). Determine causes of security violations and recommends corrective actions. Will conduct interviews, artifact and document review and controls testing.    Develop and maintain supporting documentation. Prepare detailed risk assessment reports and assess network compliance against controls listed in NIST SP 800-37 and 800-53.

What You Need:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
  • Hold an active industry certification such as the CISA/CISM, Security+, CISSP, SANS, and etc.
  • 3- 5 years of experience with FISMA audits, including security documentation reviews, interviews, and controls testing.
  • Familiar with running vulnerability scanning tools such as Nessus and be able to evaluate the results.
  • Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills; have the ability to develop documentation and presentations.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident and able to obtain a facility clearance.
