We are looking for a passionate Cyber Security Engineer to join our team. As a Cyber Security Engineer, you can deploy and operate systems, networks, applications, and tools that underpin our cyber defences. You will also closely collaborate with our SRE, IT, and development teams.

Responsibilities

  • Deploy and operate systems, networks, applications, and tools that underpin our cyber defences, on AWS and Azure
  • Monitor network and systems activity for suspicious behaviour and respond to security incidents
  • Organise and follow the treatment of vulnerabilities in collaboration with technical teams
  • Prepare and maintain security documentation, including incident reports and risk assessments
  • Stay up to date with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies.

What you need

  • Be curious, willing to learn new things, and ready to lead topics forward
  • Knowledge of network and system security principles, protocols, and ideally, experience with AWS or Azure
  • Knowledge of a programming language such as Python or Go
  • Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences
