Job Description

This profile will work in the premises of our customer (EU Institution), as a high-level expert in at least one of the below fields:

• ICT Security governance, risk, compliance ;
• SOC, SIEM, log management technologies;
• Incident response and technical analysis tools;
• Threat Intelligence processing tools;
• Endpoint protection solutions
• PKI and cryptographic products;
• Other ICT Security specific solutions requiring a dedicated expertise.

This profile aims at providing advanced expertise on a specific scope, such as:

• Elaborate strategic studies, technologies reviews and top management level reports in the above fields;
• Design and implement comprehensive and operational technical solutions for increasing customer’s capabilities corresponding to the general profile description;
• Augment the ICT Security team capabilities in case of a major incident (e.g. ensuring tactical coordination, applying advanced methodologies and tools, providing thorough technical expertise for analysis or recovery tasks);
• Transfer state-of-the-art and advanced knowledge to the customer’s ICT Security team.

Qualifications

If you have

• At least ten years of professional experience, including:
• five years’ experience focused on the considered domain.
• A  bachelor's degree in the ICT field
• Professional experience must be proven to be related to security of information technologies as defined in the profile description and the candidate must be practicing
• Very good knowledge of both written and oral English (proficient user - C level, according to the Europass Language Passport classification) is mandatory. Knowledge of French is an asset.
• Recognised expertise at national or international level (through technical publications, research work, contributions to experts groups or similar outputs).

The following additional administrative, technical and management competencies are required for this profile:

• Excellent organisational skills, thorough comprehension of complex organisational issues and ability to identify appropriate solutions;
• Ability to generate reports and written analysis on complex and multi-domain security topics, both at high and technical levels and be committed to excellence and quality service delivery;
• Excellent communication skills, ability to lead multi-lingual meetings and to do presentations to the top managers, technical staff and also end-users in the context of knowledge transfer activities;
• Leadership, autonomy and commitment to increasing maturity;
• Excellent team player and ability to coordinate other experts' work.
