Job Description

Visa's Cybersecurity team is looking for a Cybersecurity Engineer who will be responsible for design, development, and execution of large-scale Cybersecurity initiatives. Extensive Python and web service development experience and team leadership skills are a must. In this position, you are a passionate and talented Cybersecurity professional with problem-solving abilities and coding/testing/debugging skills who can work in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop innovative solutions to protect the Visa brand, networks, assets and products by implementing state-the-art detection, prevention, and response capabilities

• Engage in technical design of solutions based on use cases and business requirements

• Participate in proof of concepts and other technical evaluations of technologies, designs and solutions

• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and proactively assess and evaluate the adoption thereof into the organization

• Demonstrate technical mastery and be an inspirational leader and mentor who continuously develops the competencies of him/herself and others

• Reduce time-to-detect and time-to-remediate by driving the automation of applied threat intelligence and sensor enrichment

• Develop and expand API framework to interconnect Security Tools

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
 

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
• 2+ years of relevant work experience and a Bachelors degree, OR 5+ years of relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications:
• 5 or more years of work experience with a bachelor’s degree or more than 3 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters) in computer science or information security
• Domain exposure of Cloud Security: AWS or GCP. Expert level certification in 1 or more of platforms is a must. Multiyear experience designing and supporting migrating applications to cloud and implementing security controls in the cloud.
• Knowledge and hands on experience for designing and implementing new controls based on gap and requirement.
• Must of knowledge for Cloud Network and infrastructure security.
• Knowledge and hands on experience with infrastructure as code, terraform.
• Experience with continuous compliance in cloud.
• Knowledge of multiple security domain like ODNS, Cloud Flare DNS,CASB, Sumo logic etc.
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• proficiency with Linux (or similar) operating systems
• In depth understanding of TCP/IP protocols
• Experience with SSL, SSH, HHTPS etc
• Python scripting, Automation skills, API, Dev Ops skills etc.
• System admin - Red Hat Linux/Unix, Windows – Basic knowledge is mandatory
