Job Description:

Novetta is looking for a Cloudsecurity Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support the Black Label DevSecOps Platform.  The ideal candidate will have demonstrated knowledge supporting a DevSecOps Platform in multiple gov cloud environments from Unclassified to Top Secret and is highly familiar with Kubernetes environments, NIST 800 53 and Zero Trust Security models and architectures supporting the fielding unique Cyber capabilities.  Experience supporting a DevSecOps platform (Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) Kubernetes compliance) built with hardened containers from centralized repositories enabling AFCYBER to field cyber operational capabilities faster, working within the DoD Enterprise solution, Platform One (P1) is preferred.  Black Label uses Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code (CaC) providing continued development/support in a Platform-as-a Service (PaaS) capacity.  Black Label operates in a highly dynamic Agile/Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment.  This position is located at JBSA-Lackland and other locations in the San Antonio metropolitan area.

Responsibilities include:

  • Work with other teams across the Air Force and supporting DevSecOps across multiple security classifications
  • Onboarding and supporting product teams across the Air Force to support required documentation enabling the Platform to continuously develop and deploy code to multiple security environments
  • Support the continuous workflow incorporating integration, delivery, testing, deployment, and monitoring to deliver applications more efficiently and effectively
  • Write documentation to support automation and monitoring for release applications
  • Work in an Agile environment using Scrum and Kanban methodologies

Basic Qualifications:

  • Zero trust architectures (Beyond Corp/SDP)
  • NIST 800 53
  • NIST 800 190
  • Kubernetes Environments
  • Istio
  • Writing necessary documentation, publications and guidance
  • DoD 8570 IA Technician Level II or higher (certificates such as: CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, GCIH)

Security Clearance:

  • Active DoD TS with SCI
