Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC seeks a Senior Cloud Security Engineer in San Francisco, CA to work with software engineers to address security risks and provide mitigation recommendations within the PlayStation Network cloud infrastructure. Requires a Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field or equivalent, and three (3) years of experience developing and enforcing cloud security standards in AWS including IAM policies, security groups, and S3 bucket policies. Prior experience must include three (3) years of experience selecting, designing, and implementing new tools including InsightCloudSec, Cloud Custodian, ThreatStack, Qualys, Aqua, Splunk/ElasticSearch, Jenkins, and Github to improve platform visibility using automated protection mechanisms; developing automated frameworks for security tool deployment, using AWS services, scripting languages including Python, and open source/commercial solutions; improving Platform Observability for monitoring Security tools in Cloud; automating onboarding of IAM framework into new AWS cloud accounts; documenting Security  around Cloud Infrastructure and its implementation; securing host, containers, and application solutions for multi-tier hosting environments in regulated environments including Payment Card Industry (PCI).. At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role’s base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location.

Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

$162,200—$243,200 USD
