About the role:

Reporting to the Security Operations Manager, you will be responsible for delivering cybersecurity services to our large, complex, government and enterprise customers. The successful candidate will lead a unique team that provides a highly secure and customized service outcome to a select number of customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Security Operations Engineers to ensure services are delivered on time and to the expected quality standard.
  • Ensure that all in-scope services are delivered in alignment with service definitions and customer expectations.
  • Engage with customers and support cybersecurity operations outcomes as part of our product offerings.
  • Develop and implement a delivery and improvement plan for each customer.
  • Ensure that all cybersecurity controls within scope of cybersecurity operations are working effectively and efficiently.
  • Ensure all cybersecurity operations processes and procedures for our customers are documented and followed.
  • Collaborate with wider service delivery and account management teams to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Collaborate with platform and service engineering and development teams to adopt automation and improve operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the service management team to ensure that the effectiveness of controls is appropriately reported to customers as well as the wider business. Ensure that customers understand any required improvement initiatives and proactively champion these.

Skills We Can’t Do without:

  • Experience leading operational teams delivering services to customers.
  • Experience in a structured service management environment with exposure to working with multiple parties and teams.
  • Experience working in an IT operations environment, within areas such as Incident Response, Tier 1/2 technical support, or a SOC.
  • You will be professional when dealing with team members and customers, reliable, consistently deliver quality outcomes and lead by example.
  • Proven experience in cybersecurity and related technologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable taking ownership with the ability to coordinate and communicate effectively.
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver results in complex environments.
  • Experience in managing relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  • Ability to mentor and develop team members with patience and compassion.
