Job Description

The Identity and Access Management (IAM) team is responsible for securing employee access to our core applications in the most efficient, compliant and user-friendly manner, innovatively using the latest industry standards and tools. Our goal is to become the gold standard for IAM worldwide.

 Visa's IAM eco-system includes an extensive, and highly customized, rich Identity Management platform implementation.  The team has successfully implemented many of the core components. With a constant moving and expending environment, the IAM team is exploring all processes and technology to expend the security coverage and improve the end user experience.

With the additional features and the goal of extensive coverage comes a higher level of complexity, criticality, overall usage, and dependency on the environment.

We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Engineer - Sr. Consultant level, IAM with development background to become a member of our Global team of IAM experts to lead and influence further development, operations, and support of the IAM environment as well as collaborate with   Visa eco-system IT teams and Cybersecurity stakeholders.

The successful candidate will have a fundamental understanding of Identity and Access Management and security concepts as well as hands-on in-depth experience with a programming/scripting language. In addition, the candidate should possess the ability to develop complex solution, troubleshoot and resolve complex issues, and the willingness to take on challenges.

As a Sr. Consultant, you have to

• Take ownership of an Identity Management (SailPoint IIQ) components like JML, JIT, RBAC provisioning, connector/adapter development or interface with in-house portal

• Understand the existing Design, Architecture and analyze the new requirements to ask relevant technical queries and leading towards the best design outcome.

• Work with Global team on the alignment of design and justify the solution concluded is bringing business outcome in Role Based Access Control [RBAC] and other related modules/technology areas.

• Prove ability to work with global technical/local leads and contributing on design

• Build new solutions in the expected skills, technologies, and tools to meet the plan in Scrum process.

• Thirst to bring continuous improvements in all kind of process to improve the quality all the time.

• Supporting leadership team with growth mindset by understanding the rationale behind every decision.

• Being a role model to the team and juniors in technical acumen and motivate others to learn and support them to uplift them for overall success.

• Identify, engage, and collaborate with stakeholders to determine their needs, secure alignment, and consistently communicate progress

• Prioritize and define requirements to clearly communicate what needs to be built and why

• Demonstrate proactive change management, crafting a shared narrative for transformation with stakeholders to align goals, link strategies and define the future state for the Design organization

• Support and resolve vulnerability findings in the given solution area and, ensures successful completion of disaster recovery exercise and be responsible of its availability according to SLA.

• Plan and facilitate initiatives and workshops with key cross-functional leadership to enable transparency, alignment, and contact awareness

• Work closely with Management, Development team, and the Quality Assurance team to meet deliverables on time with expected business outcomes

• Showcase excellent organizational skills. Able to work with a vast array of information and able to cope with rapidly changing information

• Work within a globally distributed team of IAM team members and customers. Sometimes having to provide support on deployed solution for any Prod issues with high priority.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
• 8+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 11+ years of relevant work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
• 10+ years of experience in IAM Development experience in any Identity tools. i.e Identity Management solutions like Sail point, Oracle Identity Manager, ForgeRock or similar products
• Proven experience in leading a solution in IAM/Cybersecurity to meet industry standard.
• Experience in Driving, administering and deploying solution in multiple modules of Identity Manager service(s)Tier 0 / Tier 1 services with good ownership
• Experience working on with significant knowledge and Good exposure in Role Based Access Control [RBAC] module is a must and have a sound knowledge about the RBAC challenges with sufficient experience in JML & Workflows, UAR/Certification modules
• Design, develop and testing of IAM components: Services in SOAP/REST, Core Java, JS Frameworks, SQL is a must have skills and Python, shell script is an added advantage
• 9+ Years of experience of troubleshooting critical production issues and able to support to sustain in business as usual(s) in complex network environment, predominantly in Unix
• 9 + years of good hands-on experience as programmer/developer with specialization in Java, J2EE, Angular JS, Spring Boot with Preferably SailPoint Integration Experience
• Proven experience in innovating new things, thinking out of the box and blend the tool to meet business needs in any given tool in this domain.
• Have good confident and ability to demonstrate the solution walkthrough with good written and oral communication skills.
• Confident enough to present solutions to senior management and address their queries and ability to convince through meaningful solution options with good presentation skills.
• Experience in Agile, DevOps, Test Automation concepts/basics, Jira, GitHub and good knowledge and experience in Change management process.
• 9+ Years of experience with a programming/scripting language such as Java, Unix Shell
• Knowledge about high availability Security designs, Server Hardening concepts, Industry best practices are a must.
• Ability and experience in coaching, guiding the new joiners in a technical side to meet the project and delivery goals by coaching them in industry best practices.
• Any Security certification will be an added advantage.
• Self-starter who is eager to learn continuously, take ownership, and push ideas and projects to achieve business goals.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities, willingness to adapt and understand the big picture, and deep user empathy.
