About the roleAs part of fulfilling the objective of becoming the leading global online banking payments provider, we are strengthening our capability in the information and cyber security area.Just recently we restructured our internal setup within the security area allowing us to scale and teams to focus. To get us going we are now looking for a Security Engineering Manager to head up the team focusing on our product security in Europe. The team is undergoing an expansive phase and you will have great opportunities to influence what we do and how we do it.
As manager for our Security Engineering team you will be mentoring and leading a team of Security Engineers focusing on secure development and production of services in Europe.

What you'll do:

  • Ensure Trustly’s tech platforms and software development practices are at the forefront when it comes to cyber security.
  • Champion security culture throughout the Trustly Tech Organization.
  • Manage a team of Engineers allowing them to grow in their career ambitions and ensuring the team has the right competences and capacity to fulfill the assignment.

We believe you have the following qualities:

  • You have spent a few years in the area of cyber security doing hands-on technical security work.
  • You have leadership experience managing other individuals, as a Team Lead or Manager.
  • You enjoy working in a fast-paced organization where you will be challenged daily to make sure security enables our maintained speed forward rather than inhibiting it.
  • We think you are a person with a passion for making your team evolve and thrive by actively coaching your team members and contributing to the team’s success by making things smarter/faster/better.
  • We attach great importance to personal qualities and see that you are a person with excellent communicative ability who can connect theory with practice and adapt your message and communication style to your audience.
  • You need to be fluent in both Swedish and English, written and spoken. 
  • Holding an active EU or Swedish work permit and visa.
  • Be able to spend the majority of your working time in our Stockholm office to fulfill our flexible work policy.
