Barbaricum is seeking Cybersecurity Analyst to provide support to the Maneuver, Surveillance and Engagement Division at Naval Surface Warfare Center - Crane. This individual will work as part of a larger contract team supporting engineering, technical, and program support for software engineering and cyber engineering for expeditionary systems and product lines for the NSWC customer. This will include design, development, system integration, sensor and data fusion, data management, data mining, production, information assurance/cybersecurity, installation, rapid prototyping, Research Development Test and Evaluation (RDT&E), Configuration Management, and sustainment for Information Technology and software-centric systems.

Responsibilities

  • Update and perform verification of network and system patches on a weekly and monthly basis
  • Perform network penetration tests and ACAS scans
  • Manage connected assets and perform regular security audits
  • Perform compliance verifications through OPDIR reports
  • Assist cybersecurity lead and systems analyst in administration and production of documents needed for system compliance
  • Contact FSRs to verify status of systems not displayed in the periodic scans.
  • Oversee, evaluate, and support the documentation, validation, and accreditation processes necessary to ensure new and existing IT systems meet the organizations information assurance (IA) and security requirements
  • Support EMSS and VADS systems and provide site visits, repairs, reimaging, training, fielding, and other user assistance as required
  • Ensures appropriate treatment of risk, compliance, and monitoring assurance from internal and external perspectives

Qualifications

  • Active DoD Secret Clearance
  • 4+ years of experience in Information Assurance or similar cybersecurity role
  • Bachelor’s Degree or CNSSI 4012, 4013, 4014, 4015, 4016 Certificate, or completion of military training courses for NEC2780
  • Active CompTIA Security + (CE), CCNA, CAP, or ENSA is required
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT)
  • Experience with Expeditionary Systems is a plus
