Job Description

You will work on current and future cybersecurity solutions in the automotive domain. You will analyze different level of complexity (e.g., ECUs, functions, E/E-architectures) or even the complete environment from the vehicle to infrastructure (e.g., backend) together with specific future use cases (e.g., automated driving, V2X communication).

With your work you will support our interdisciplinary security team to develop and secure new technologies or products and share the passion of security for the automotive future.

Tasks:

  • Consulting from concept to implementation of security solutions and architectures in the automotive domain - from design phase to SOP ("Start of Production")
  • Plan and perform security analysis with focus on automotive systems
  • Create surveys and prepare decisions for (new) embedded security solutions and technologies (e.g., V2X, IDS, Post-Quantum-Cryptography)
  • Central point of contact for security solutions and strategies in projects
  • Presentation of results to customers
  • Consulting and implementation of project-specific security engineering processes

Qualifications

Profile:

  • Above-average degree in the field of computer science, IT security or comparable field of study.
  • Knowledge in at least three of the following areas: Threat & Risk Modeling/Analysis, Security Consulting, Automotive Cyber Security, Automotive technologies.
  • Automotive security knowledge of common bus systems in vehicles (e.g., CAN, LIN), networks and their cryptographic mechanisms, experiences in relevant norms and regulations like ISO/SAE 21434, UNECE R-155/156.
  • Lecture and presentation skills
  • Very good written and spoken German skills
