Job Description

Reports to: Sr Manager, Cloud Operations

A quick snapshot

As a Product Security Engineer on our Cloud Security team, you’ll support security and compliance to keep our customers safe. You’ll play a role in enforcing policies, and monitoring, triaging, and resolving security alerts and issues within the cloud environments (AWS, Azure, IBM, GCP, etc.).

Our customers are important to us, which means we need to keep them safe. Security is critical.  You’ll play a key role in maintaining the security of customer information for our 11,000+ customers.

Are you the person we’re looking for? 

Related Experience. You’ve developed a foundational knowledge of Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) through your 2(ish) years of experience of cloud management, in at least one environment (AWS, Azure, IBM, GCP). Maybe you’ve even developed automation skills along the way!

You’ve worked on problems that required you to review a variety of factors in order to analyze a situation. You’ve built productive internal and external working relationships. And you’ve demonstrated good judgment to determine appropriate courses of action, within defined practices and procedures. 

Sense of urgency. You’re able to understand the business priorities and can understand the importance to act fast when an issue arises. When you notice a problem and see an issue, you analyze the risk and act accordingly – that could be solving the problem or bringing it to the attention of others when you can’t.

Here’s what will give you an edge…

Willingness to outside of standard business hours. Let’s face it – monitoring security is a 24/7 need. As a global company with global customers, the ability to work in the early mornings, evenings, and weekends is important to ensure we provide the best security for our customers.

Education and certifications.  A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field would be beneficial Additional cloud certifications, security certifications, and other formal certifications would also be a plus. 

Industry expertise. Let’s face it, understanding of Software as a Service and/or Revenue Lifecycle Management software (CPQ & CLM) would allow you to hit the ground running.

Compensation

In the spirit of the Conga Way, we strive to design easy-to-understand compensation programs that are fair and free from any type of discrimination, and which enable us to ‘Achieve Together.’ We communicate transparently about the structure of our compensation programs. ​In keeping with this approach, we’re committed to delivering a competitive compensation and benefits package to all colleagues worldwide. Target compensation is determined by market location for each role.  

The following information is provided in accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay Act. The general minimum base salary target for this position in Colorado is $100,756 per year; however, the actual base salary offered may increase (or decrease) depending on the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to base salary, Conganeers receive a variable incentive pay component, perks such as flexible work options, and a full range of benefits including medical and dental insurance.
