Job Description

Bosch’s security specialists bring diverse skill-sets to deliver solutions at hardware, operating system, middleware, and communication layers. The cybersecurity team at Bosch possesses expertise in all aspects of security mandated by ISO/SAE 21434:2021- viz., governance, cryptography, security analysis and design, security testing etc.

Bosch is looking for Functional Security Testers to join its cybersecurity team in Warsaw, Poland. You will be involved in verification of all security-critical functions or systems, to check if they are implemented according to the technical requirements specified in the design. You will be validating correctness, performance, compliance, and robustness of inter-connected automotive systems by testing security-related functions, such as encryption/decryption, authentication algorithms, intrusion detection systems, etc.

Your tasks:

  • Organize, conduct and document security related tests for embedded devices in the automotive area (Functional Tests, Penetration Tests)
  • Support the test setup and analysis
  • Adopt existing tools and develop new tools to support and automate testing activities
  • Maintain test catalogues 
  • Develop new attack patterns for automotive ECUs

Qualifications

Your profile:  

  • Degree in Computer Science, IT Security, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or similar
  • Knowledge about automotive and IT protocols (CAN, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc.)
  • Knowledge of network architectures and signal flows in automotive E/E systems
  • Good understanding of security measures in hard- and software (e.g. cryptography, HSM, TPM)
  • Experience in the field of automotive electronics, functional tests, and automotive tools (e.g. ISOLAR A/B, EVE, CANoe) is desirable
  • Proficient in programming languages (e.g. C, C++, Java, Python) or any other high level language
