The opportunity:

  • Our Management Consulting team have opportunities available at Associate Director/Director level
  • As an enterprise architect working for KPMG, your primary role will be to design and oversee the implementation of enterprise-wide IT systems and solutions.
  • A role as a Management Consultant - Technology at KPMG will see you working with our clients to provide technology and consulting services from technology operational model design and implementation, enterprise architecture, technology procurement, technology service design, strategic planning and more.
  • You'll work across a breadth of engagements and collaborate with other consultants across the Consulting division.

Day to day you will:

  • Strategic planning: Responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans for enterprise-wide IT systems that align with the client's business objectives.
  • Technology architecture: Design and implement enterprise-wide technology architecture that includes hardware, software, networking, and security components.  Ensuring that solutions meet business requirements, taking into account factors such as scalability, performance, and security.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with other architects and technical experts to develop best practices and ensure consistency in solution design and implementation.
  • Project management: Oversee IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring that they meet business requirements, timelines, and budget constraints.
  • Stakeholder management: Communicate and collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to understand their requirements, gain support for IT initiatives, and manage expectations.
  • Risk management: Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities in enterprise IT systems, and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Technical leadership: Provide technical leadership to IT teams, ensuring that they are following best practices and adhering to industry standards.
  • Business analysis: Analyse business requirements and translate them into technical solutions, ensuring that they are feasible and aligned with the client's overall strategy.
  • Vendor management: Evaluate and select third-party vendors to provide IT products and services, negotiate contracts, and manage relationships.
  • Leadership: Providing guidance and mentoring to junior team members, helping them to develop their skills and grow their careers.

What you'll bring to our team:

  • You will need to have strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills, as well as a deep understanding of enterprise IT systems and architecture.
  • You should have experience in project management, business analysis, and vendor management, as well as knowledge of industry standards and best practices.
  • A degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field is typically required, as well as relevant certifications such as TOGAF, ITIL, or CISSP.
