What we do:

The IT Cybersecurity Manager coordinates the company's cybersecurity operations and ensuring the safety and security of our technology systems. The manager designs, implements, and maintains policies and procedures related to cybersecurity, as well as managing a team of cybersecurity professionals. This role involves introducing and working with a variety of cybersecurity tools and technologies.

What you can do:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain cybersecurity policies and procedures to safeguard Supernal's information systems and data
  • Manage a team of cybersecurity professionals and oversee their daily activities
  • Monitor the company's networks, systems, and applications to detect and respond to security threats using tools such as Splunk, vulnerability scanners, and leveraging services such as Security Operations Center (SOC) as a service
  • Manage the company's cloud security, including Azure and Microsoft 365, to ensure secure access and data protection
  • Collaborate with vendors providing security services and technologies to ensure alignment with business needs and regulatory requirements
  • Develop incident response plans and conduct regular drills to ensure the company is prepared to handle security incidents
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop risk management strategies to mitigate cybersecurity risks
  • Provide cybersecurity training and awareness programs to educate employees about cybersecurity best practices
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies and provide recommendations for improvements to the company's cybersecurity program
  • Other duties as assigned

What you can contribute:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
  • A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on managing cybersecurity programs and teams (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Experience with risk management, incident response, and disaster recovery
  • Experience managing cloud security, including IaaS and SaaS solutions
  • Experience working with security service vendors and managing vendor relationships
  • Experience with penetration testing and vulnerability assessments
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, standards, and regulations
  • Knowledge of industry-specific cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, ISO, or CIS
  • Proficiency in drafting policies, standards, guidelines, and other relevant documentation
  • Familiarity with identity and access management tools and technologies
  • Hands-on experience in responding to real security incidents
  • Hands-on experience directly using common cybersecurity tools like SIEM, DLP, EDR, and CASB is highly valued – the more tools the better
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proactive delivery of communication and follow-up
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Must have the ability to independently prioritize and accomplish work within time constraints
  • Self-motivated and forward-thinking personality

You may also be able to contribute:

  • Knowledge of export control compliance standards like EAR and ITAR are a big plus

Base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for a bonus as part of total compensation.

The pay range for this position is:$192,400—$289,120 USD
