Job Description

  • Support and drive the strategy and roadmap for automated controls for incident detection and response 
  • Manage, develop and continuously improve tools for incident detection and response 
  • Identify high-risk attack paths and create automated detection mechanisms 
  • Partner with engineering teams to continuously improve detection mechanisms throughout the Dynatrace product and services 
  • Ensure central visibility into relevant log sources and events 
  • Drive, design and develop dedicated services for processing and alerting on detected critical security events 
  • Automate and continuously optimize incident handling workflows 
  • Ensure fast feedback for engineering teams or automated reaction to detected incidents 

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience as Software Engineer, Security Engineer or similar (Java, Python, API-design, …) 
  • Passion for end-to-end software development, including design and deployment automation (CI/CD tools, Jenkins, Gradle, …) 
  • Experience working with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS) and containerization technologies (Docker, K8s) 
  • Knowledge of incident detection and response tools is a plus 
  • Familiarity with computer and network security concepts 
  • Hands-on team player with an "automate everything" mindset 
  • Visionary and proactive person of action who loves challenges and interacting with stakeholders across teams and disciplines

Compensation and rewards

  • We offer attractive compensation packages and stock purchase options with numerous benefits and advantages.
  • Due to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary for this position, which is € 45,500 gross per year based on full-time employment (38.5 h/week). We offer a higher salary in line with qualification and experience.
